The Botkins Trojans basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Tri-Village Patriots to 50 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Sunday.

The Trojans now sport a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Russia for a Shelby County contest on Tuesday, January 18. Botkins will battle a Raiders team coming off a 65-64 non-league loss to New Bremen (New Bremen, OH). The Raiders record now stands at 7-4.

The Patriots (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Bradford (Bradford, OH). The Railroaders enter the Western Ohio contest with a 9-5 record. In their last contest, Bradford nudged Middletown Christian (Franklin, OH), 62-48, in a non-league contest.
