The Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers basketball team (Severn, MD), was nudged 70-68 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting John Carroll Patriots (Bel Air, MD)
The Patriots now possess a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Calvert Hall for a MIAA A - Black battle on Wednesday, January 18. John Carroll will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 62-54 non-league win over Rosedale Christian Academy (Baltimore, MD). The Cardinals record now stands at 14-8.
The Cavaliers (8-9) will now prepare for their battle against Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Baltimore, MD). The Cougars come into the MIAA A - Red battle with a 10-7 record. In their last battle, Our Lady of Mount Carmel was nudged by Calvert Hall (Baltimore, MD), 60-50, in a non-league battle.
