Minnesota High School Basketball - Monticello knocked off by Chisago Lakes Area

The Chisago Lakes Area Wildcats basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Monticello Magic to 49 in the Wildcats league triumph on Monday.

The Wildcats now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mora for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 18. Chisago Lakes Area will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 68-48 non-league win over Little Falls (Little Falls, MN). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-1.

The Magic (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against St. Francis (St. Francis, MN). The Fighting Saints enter the AAA Section 5 contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, St. Francis was defeated by Princeton (Princeton, MN), 59-52, in a league contest.
