Coalfield Yellow Jackets (Coalfield, TN) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Midway Green Wave (Kingston, TN), 68-51 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Coalfield upgrades its record to 4-10 on the season. The Yellow Jackets travel to Jellico (Jellico, TN) to clash with the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 9-11. Jellico lost 74-61 in their recent league bout against Cosby (Cosby, TN)
Next up, the Green Wave clash with the Coalfield Yellow Jackets (Coalfield, TN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 19. Midway will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Yellow Jackets go into the bout with a 4-11 record after their 93-30 non-league loss to Jellico (Jellico, TN).
