In Monday's non-league outing, the Valencia Vikings (Valencia, CA) basketball squad felled the host Dunn Earwigs (Los Olivos, CA), by a margin of 69-51.
The Vikings (12-9) will now prepare for their outing against Castaic (Castaic, CA). The Coyotes go into the Foothill outing with a 10-14 record. In their last outing, Castaic was beaten by Golden Valley (Santa Clarita, CA), 54-50, in a league outing.
The Earwigs now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Grace Brethren for a Frontier outing on Friday, January 20. Dunn will clash with a Lancers squad coming off a 57-45 league loss to Foothill Tech (Ventura, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 3-7.
