With the victory, Maria Carrillo upgrades its record to 4-12 on the campaign. The Pumas host Rancho Cotate (Rohnert Park, CA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 9-11. Rancho Cotate won 53-36 in their recent league bout against St. Vincent de Paul (Petaluma, CA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Piner Prospectors (Santa Rosa, CA) in a North Bay - Oak bout, on Friday, January 20. Santa Rosa will attempt to upgrade on its 7-13 season record.
