The Wagon Mound Trojans basketball team (Wagon Mound, NM), was nudged 55-48 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Springer Red Devils (Springer, NM)
The Red Devils now possess a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Des Moines for a A District 5 battle on Thursday, January 19. Springer will confront a Demons team coming off a 46-37 non-league loss to Crowley County (Ordway, CO). The Demons record now stands at 8-7.
The Trojans (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against Roy/Mosquero (Roy, NM). The Blue or Lady Blue come into the A District 5 battle with a 6-9 record.
