Organ Mountain Knights (Las Cruces, NM) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Gadsden Panthers (Anthony, NM), 29-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Organ Mountain upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Knights host Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM) to clash with the Tigers in a bout on Thursday, January 19. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Alamogordo won 50-42 in their recent league bout against Centennial (Las Cruces, NM)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Las Cruces Bulldawgs (Las Cruces, NM) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 19. Gadsden will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Bulldawgs go into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 53-34 non-league win over Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM).
