The Las Cruces Bulldawgs basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Mayfield Trojans to 34 in the Bulldawgs non-league victory on Monday.

The Bulldawgs now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gadsden for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 19. Las Cruces will battle a Panthers team coming off a 29-28 non-league loss to Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM). The Panthers record now stands at 0-3.

The Trojans (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Centennial (Las Cruces, NM). The Hawks come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Centennial was defeated by Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM), 50-42, in a league contest.
