California High School Basketball - Wheatland knocked off by Marysville

The Marysville Indians basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Wheatland Pirates to 33 in the Indians league triumph on Monday.
The Indians now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bear River for a contest on Thursday, January 19. Marysville will battle a Bruins team coming off a 42-33 non-league win over Union Mine (El Dorado, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 2-2.
The Pirates (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Sutter (Sutter, CA). The Huskies enter the contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Sutter was defeated by Twelve Bridges (Lincoln, CA), 70-46, in a league contest.
