In Monday's league outing, the Blue Ridge Raiders (New Milford, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Forest City Foresters (Forest City, PA), by a margin of 44-17.

The Raiders (4-4) will now prepare for their outing against Riverside (Taylor, PA). The Vikings go into the non-league outing with a 4-5 record. In their last outing, Riverside was trounced by Mid Valley (Throop, PA), 41-36, in a league outing.

The Foresters now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they host Montrose for a Lackawanna 4 outing on Thursday, January 19. Forest City will encounter a Meteors squad coming off a 52-25 league win over Elk Lake (Dimock, PA). The Meteors record now stands at 7-1.
