In Monday's non-league outing, the North Greene Huskies (Greeneville, TN) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Cosby Eagles (Cosby, TN), by a count of 60-25.

The Huskies (6-10) will now prepare for their outing against Unaka (Elizabethton, TN). The Rangers go into the 1A District 1 outing with a 7-14 record. In their last outing, Unaka smashed Johnson County (Mountain City, TN), 69-58, in a non-league outing.

The Eagles now hold a 9-9 record. They play next when they travel to Claiborne for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 17. Cosby will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 70-29 non-league win over Hancock County (Sneedville, TN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-9.
