Gorham Rams (Gorham, ME) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Scarborough Red Storm (Scarborough, ME), 55-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Gorham upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Rams travel to Thornton Academy (Saco, ME) to clash with the Trojans in a AA South bout on Friday, January 20. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 12-0. Thornton Academy won 58-55 in their recent league bout against South Portland (South Portland, ME)

Next up, the Red Storm clash with the Lewiston Blue Devils (Lewiston, ME) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 20. Scarborough will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 65-31 non-league win over Noble (Berwick, ME).
