The Holy Redeemer Royals (Wilkes-Barre, PA) basketball knocked off the visiting Wyoming Seminary College Prep Blue Knights (Kingston, PA), 52-34 in Monday's non-league test.

The Royals (8-8) will now prepare for their test against Greater Nanticoke Area (Nanticoke, PA). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Greater Nanticoke Area went down by Wyoming Area (Exeter, PA), 47-33, in a league test.

The Blue Knights now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they host Wyoming Area for a Wyoming Valley 3 test on Wednesday, January 18. Wyoming Seminary College Prep will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 63-18 league win over Hanover Area (Hanover Township, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 8-6.
