Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Panther Valley nudges Jim Thorpe

In Monday's league outing, the Panther Valley Panthers (Lansford, PA) basketball squad edged the host Jim Thorpe Olympians (Jim Thorpe, PA), by a count of 48-44.

The Panthers (9-5) will now prepare for their outing against Pine Grove (Pine Grove, PA). The Cardinals go into the Schuylkill County 1 outing with a 3-3 record. In their last outing, Pine Grove held off Jim Thorpe (Jim Thorpe, PA), 39-24, in a league outing.
