Kentucky High School Basketball - Mayfield ripped by McCracken County

The McCracken County Mustangs basketball team scored 77 points and held the visiting Mayfield Cardinals to 29 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Monday.

The Mustangs now sport a 19-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Paducah Tilghman for a District 2 contest on Friday, January 20. McCracken County will battle a Blue Tornado team coming off a 48-47 non-league loss to Grayson County (Leitchfield, KY). The Blue Tornado record now stands at 8-4.

The Cardinals (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Fulton County (Hickman, KY). The Pilots enter the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Fulton County was routed by Murray (Murray, KY), 35-24, in a non-league contest.
