North Platte Panthers (Dearborn, MO) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting North Andrew Cardinals (Rosendale, MO), 60-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Platte upgrades its record to 11-2 on the season. The Panthers travel to Plattsburg (Plattsburg, MO) to play the Tigers in a KCI bout on Friday, January 20. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-9. Plattsburg won 50-27 in their recent non-league bout against Excelsior Springs (Excelsior Springs, MO)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Braymer Bobcats (Braymer, MO) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 16. North Andrew will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 5-0 record after their 59-27 league win over Hardin-Central (Hardin, MO).
