Wilson Dragons (Wilson, KS) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Pike Valley Panthers (Scandia, KS), 33-25 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Wilson upgrades its record to 9-0 on the season. The Dragons travel to St. John's/Tipton Catholic (Beloit, KS) to play the Blujays in a Northern Plains bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Blujays go into the bout with a record of 4-2. St. John's/Tipton Catholic won 67-36 in their recent league bout against Natoma (Natoma, KS)

Next up, the Panthers play the Sylvan-Lucas Mustangs (Sylvan Grove, KS) in a Northern Plains bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Pike Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 47-20 non-league win over Natoma (Natoma, KS).
