Kansas High School Basketball - Syracuse topped by Wichita County

The Wichita County Indians basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the visiting Syracuse Bulldogs to 35 in the Indians non-league victory on Monday.

The Indians now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sublette for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 19. Wichita County will battle a Larks team coming off a 52-24 non-league loss to Stanton County (Johnson, KS). The Larks record now stands at 2-6.

The Bulldogs (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Southwestern Heights (Kismet, KS). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Southwestern Heights was defeated by Lakin (Lakin, KS), 54-29, in a non-league contest.
