Tri-Village Patriots (New Madison, OH) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Toledo Christian Eagles (Toledo, OH), 50-35 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Tri-Village upgrades its record to 16-0 on the campaign. The Patriots host Blackford (Hartford City, IN) to play the Bruins in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 18. The Bruins come into the bout with a record of 17-1. Blackford won 67-38 in their recent league bout against Mississinewa (Gas City, IN)

Next up, the Eagles play the Ottawa Hills Green Bears (Toledo, OH) in a Toledo Area test, on Thursday, January 19. Toledo Christian will attempt to advance on its 12-2 season record. The Green Bears go into the test with a 1-6 record after their 46-31 non-league loss to Edon (Edon, OH).
