In Monday's league challenge, the Beekmantown Eagles (Plattsburgh, NY) ice hockey team the host Saranac Chiefs (Saranac, NY), by a margin of 8-5.

The Eagles now possess a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Saranac Lake for a Champlain Valley Athletic Conference challenge on Thursday, January 19. Beekmantown will clash with a Red Storm team coming off a 6-1 league loss to Saranac (Saranac, NY). The Red Storm record now stands at 1-2.

The Chiefs (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Fayetteville-Manlius (Manlius, NY). The Hornets enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record.
