The Academy for Academic Excellence Knights (Apple Valley, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting University Prep Jaguars (Victorville, CA), 59-40 in Tuesday's league test.

The Knights (3-13) will now prepare for their test against Riverside Prep (Oro Grande, CA). The Silver Knights go into the Cross Valley test with a 8-14 record. In their last test, Riverside Prep went down by Silver Valley (Yermo, CA), 83-43, in a non-league test.

The Jaguars now own a 0-14 record. They play next when they host Hesperia Christian for a Cross Valley test on Friday, January 19. University Prep will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 56-55 league loss to Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy (Victorville, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 6-7.
