The Pringle-Morse Cougars (Morse, TX) basketball nipped the visiting Adrian Matadors (Adrian, TX), 43-36 in Tuesday's league test.

The Cougars (12-9) will now prepare for their test against Wildorado (Wildorado, TX). The Mustangs go into the 1A Region I District 3 test with a 22-3 record. In their last test, Wildorado was tipped by Texline (Texline, TX), 53-46, in a league test.

The Matadors now own a 9-11 record. They play next when they travel to Channing for a 1A Region I District 3 test on Friday, January 19. Adrian will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 59-13 league loss to Hartley (Hartley, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 0-5.
