Ohio High School Basketball - Aiken tops Hughes

January 16, 2024: Cincinnati, OH 45219

Aiken Falcons (Cincinnati, OH) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Hughes BIG RED (Cincinnati, OH), 70-50 in a league bout.

With the victory, Aiken upgrades its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Woodward (Cincinnati, OH) to play the Bulldogs in a Cincinnati Metro bout on Friday, January 19. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 9-6. Woodward won 85-82 in their recent league bout against Taft (Cincinnati, OH)

Next up, the BIG RED play the Withrow Tigers (Cincinnati, OH) in a Cincinnati Metro game, on Friday, January 19. Hughes will attempt to move on its 7-7 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 4-8 record after their 70-65 league loss to Western Hills (Cincinnati, OH).
