Faribault Falcons (Faribault, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Albert Lea Tigers (Albert Lea, MN), 94-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Faribault upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Falcons travel to Owatonna (Owatonna, MN) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Friday, January 19. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 9-4. Owatonna won 91-87 in their recent non-league bout against Northfield (Northfield, MN)

Next up, the Tigers confront the Chatfield Gophers (Chatfield, MN) in a AA Section 1 challenge, on Thursday, January 18. Albert Lea will attempt to improve on its 1-11 season record. The Gophers come into the challenge with a 3-15 record after their 70-65 non-league loss to Houston (Houston, MN).
