Algoma Wolves (Algoma, WI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Gibraltar Vikings (Fish Creek, WI), 46-39 in a league bout.

With the victory, Algoma upgrades its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Wolves host Kewaunee (Kewaunee, WI) to play the Storm in a Packerland bout on Saturday, January 20. The Storm come into the bout with a record of 8-3.

Next up, the Vikings play the Sturgeon Bay Clippers (Sturgeon Bay, WI) in a Packerland bout, on Thursday, January 18. Gibraltar will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Clippers come into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 62-61 league loss to Kewaunee (Kewaunee, WI).
