The Johnson Jaguars (Buda, TX) basketball crushed the host Anderson Trojans (Austin, TX), 61-37 in Tuesday's league test.

The Jaguars (21-5) will now prepare for their test against Dripping Springs (Dripping Springs, TX). The Tigers go into the 6A Region IV District 26 test with a 15-11 record. In their last test, Dripping Springs was trounced by Bowie (Austin, TX), 61-43, in a league test.

The Trojans now own a 6-22 record. They play next when they travel to Akins for a 6A Region IV District 26 test on Friday, January 19. Anderson will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 65-61 league loss to Del Valle (Del Valle, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 10-16.
