The Archbishop Riordan Crusaders basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Archbishop Mitty Monarchs to 48 in the Crusaders league victory on Tuesday.
The Crusaders now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bellarmine College Prep for a West Catholic contest on Friday, January 19. Archbishop Riordan will battle a Bells team coming off a 68-63 league loss to St. Ignatius College Preparatory (San Francisco, CA). The Bells record now stands at 6-9.
The Monarchs (10-5) will now prepare for their contest against St. Ignatius College Preparatory (San Francisco, CA). The Wildcats come into the West Catholic contest with a 13-2 record. In their last contest, St. Ignatius College Preparatory edged Bellarmine College Prep (San Jose, CA), 68-63, in a league contest.
