Georgia High School Basketball - Coffee trounces Atkinson County

January 16, 2024: Pearson, GA 31642

The Coffee Trojans (Douglas, GA) basketball crushed the host Atkinson County Rebels (Pearson, GA), 74-50 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Trojans (7-10) will now prepare for their test against Greenbrier (Evans, GA). The Wolfpack go into the AAAAA Region 1 test with a 8-9 record. In their last test, Greenbrier walloped Paideia (Atlanta, GA), 56-52, in a non-league test.

The Rebels now own a 5-11 record. They play next when they host Charlton County for a A D2 Region 2 test on Friday, January 19. Atkinson County will encounter a Indians squad coming off a 65-60 league win over Clinch County (Homerville, GA). The Indians record now stands at 9-7.
