Baldwin Braves (Milledgeville, GA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Howard Huskies (Macon, GA), 60-35 in a league bout.

With the victory, Baldwin upgrades its record to 15-2 on the campaign. The Braves host Perry (Perry, GA) to play the Panthers in a AAAA Region 2 bout on Thursday, January 18. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 4-11. Perry won 54-37 in their recent non-league bout against Dooly County (Vienna, GA)

Next up, the Huskies play the Spalding Jaguars (Griffin, GA) in a AAAA Region 2 bout, on Friday, January 19. Howard will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Jaguars come into the bout with a 11-7 record after their 82-44 league win over West Laurens (Dexter, GA).
