Ballard Bombers (Huxley, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays (Bondurant, IA), 73-69 in a league bout.

With the win, Ballard upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Bombers travel to Boone (Boone, IA) to play the Toreadors in a Raccoon River bout on Friday, January 19. The Toreadors go into the bout with a record of 3-8. Boone won 48-43 in their recent league bout against Winterset (Winterset, IA)

Next up, the Bluejays play the A-D-M Tigers (Adel, IA) in a Raccoon River bout, on Friday, January 19. Bondurant-Farrar will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record.
