Bay Port Pirates (Green Bay, WI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Manitowoc Lincoln Ships (Manitowoc, WI), 76-57 in a league bout.

With the win, Bay Port upgrades its record to 5-8 on the season. The Pirates host De Pere (De Pere, WI) to clash with the Redbirds in a Fox River Classic bout on Friday, January 19. The Redbirds go into the bout with a record of 13-1. De Pere lost 70-68 in their recent non-league bout against Wisconsin Lutheran (Milwaukee, WI)

Next up, the Ships clash with the Ashwaubenon Jaguars (Green Bay, WI) in a Fox River Classic bout, on Friday, January 19. Manitowoc Lincoln will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 10-2 record after their 84-22 league win over Green Bay Southwest (Green Bay, WI).
