Spring Mountain Eagles (Las Vegas, NV) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Beatty Hornets (Beatty, NV), 47-25 in a league bout.

With the victory, Spring Mountain upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Round Mountain (Round Mountain, NV) to play the Knights in a 1A Central bout on Friday, January 19. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 7-2. Round Mountain won 37-31 in their recent league bout against Tonopah (Tonopah, NV)

Next up, the Hornets play the Indian Springs Thunderbirds (Indian Springs, NV) in a 1A Central bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Beatty will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record.
