The New England Tigers (New England, ND) basketball knocked off the visiting Belfield Bantams (Belfield, ND), 62-52 in Tuesday's league test.
The Tigers (4-4) will now prepare for their test against South Heart (South Heart, ND). The Eagles go into the B District 5 test with a 1-7 record. In their last test, South Heart went down by Glen Ullin/Hebron (Glen Ullin, ND), 69-48, in a league test.
The Bantams now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Killdeer for a non-league test on Saturday, January 20. Belfield will encounter a Cowboys squad coming off a 58-40 non-league loss to Des Lacs-Burlington (Des Lacs, ND). The Cowboys record now stands at 7-4.
