In Tuesday's league outing, the Bishop McGuinness Villains (Kernersville, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Triad Math and Science Academy Bengals (Greensboro, NC), by a count of 66-25.
The Villains (12-3) will now prepare for their outing against Carver (Winston-Salem, NC). The Yellowjackets go into the 1A Northwest Piedmont outing with a 7-7 record. In their last outing, Carver smashed Bethany (Summerfield, NC), 86-39, in a league outing.
The Bengals now hold a 2-10 record. They play next when they host Winston-Salem Prep for a 1A Northwest Piedmont outing on Friday, January 19. Triad Math and Science Academy will clash with a Phoenix squad coming off a 48-47 non-league loss to North Forsyth (Winston-Salem, NC). The Phoenix record now stands at 5-10.
