In Tuesday's league outing, the Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Hargrave Military Academy Tigers (Chatham, VA), by a margin of 89-61.
The Barons (11-4) will now prepare for their outing against Virginia Episcopal School (Lynchburg, VA). The Bishops go into the Virginia Independent outing with a 6-5 record. In their last outing, Virginia Episcopal School was trounced by Benedictine (Richmond, VA), 62-56, in a non-league outing.
The Tigers now own a 7-4 record. They play next when they host Oak Ridge Military Academy for a non-league outing on Thursday, January 18. Hargrave Military Academy will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 67-61 non-league loss to Durham Academy (Durham, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 24-4.
