The Blythewood Bengals (Blythewood, SC) basketball knocked off the host Clover Blue Eagles (Clover, SC), 54-43 in Tuesday's league test.

The Bengals (14-5) will now prepare for their test against Rock Hill (Rock Hill, SC). The Bearcats go into the AAAAA Region 3 test with a 6-13 record. In their last test, Rock Hill went down by Nation Ford (Fort Mill, SC), 56-52, in a league test.

The Blue Eagles now own a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Spring Valley for a AAAAA Region 3 test on Wednesday, January 17. Clover will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 62-56 league win over Fort Mill (Fort Mill, SC). The Vikings record now stands at 9-7.
