The Elk Rapids Elks basketball team (Elk Rapids, MI), was nudged 47-46 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Boyne City Ramblers (Boyne City, MI)
The Ramblers now possess a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Francis for a Lake Michigan battle on Wednesday, January 17. Boyne City will battle a Gladiators team coming off a 59-50 league win over Harbor Springs (Harbor Springs, MI). The Gladiators record now stands at 5-5.
The Elks (4-8) will now prepare for their battle against Charlevoix (Charlevoix, MI). The Rayders come into the Lake Michigan battle with a 10-1 record. In their last battle, Charlevoix edged East Jordan (East Jordan, MI), 66-42, in a league battle.
