The Hawley Nuggets basketball team scored 83 points and held the visiting Breckenridge Cowboys to 52 in the Nuggets non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Nuggets now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Barnesville for a AA Section 8 contest on Friday, January 19. Hawley will meet a Trojans team coming off a 76-60 league win over Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton (Glyndon, MN). The Trojans record now stands at 10-4.

The Cowboys (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Long Prairie-Grey Eagle (Long Prairie, MN). The Thunder enter the non-league contest with a 2-11 record. In their last contest, Long Prairie-Grey Eagle was routed by Upsala (Upsala, MN), 70-34, in a league contest.
