Providence Academy Lions (Rockwall, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Cambridge Lions (Dallas, TX), 50-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Providence Academy upgrades its record to 11-7 on the season. The Lions travel to Mid-Moore Christian (Moore, OK) to clash with the Tornados in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 18. The Tornados go into the bout with a record of 15-1. Mid-Moore Christian won 61-35 in their recent league bout against Life Christian (Choctaw, OK)

Next up, the Lions clash with the Providence Academy Lions (Rockwall, TX) in a TAPPS 1A District 3 bout, on Thursday, January 25. Cambridge will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record.
