The Spooner Rails basketball team (Spooner, WI), was overwhelmed 84-47 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Cameron Comets (Cameron, WI)

The Comets now possess a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ashland for a Heart O'North battle on Friday, January 19. Cameron will confront a Oredockers team coming off a 44-28 league loss to Barron (Barron, WI). The Oredockers record now stands at 4-8.

The Rails (1-9) will now prepare for their battle against Chetek-Weyerhaeuser (Chetek, WI). The Bulldogs come into the Heart O'North battle with a 5-8 record. In their last battle, Chetek-Weyerhaeuser was overwhelmed by Northwestern (Maple, WI), 75-37, in a league battle.
