Arizona High School Basketball - Canyon View trounces Desert Edge

The Canyon View Jaguars (Waddell, AZ) basketball crushed the visiting Desert Edge Scorpions (Goodyear, AZ), 78-48 in Tuesday's league test.
The Jaguars (18-2) will now prepare for their test against Verrado (Buckeye, AZ). The Vipers go into the 5A Desert West test with a 7-9 record. In their last test, Verrado was trounced by Desert Edge (Goodyear, AZ), 64-61, in a league test.
The Scorpions now own a 12-8 record. They play next when they host La Joya Community for a 5A Desert West test on Thursday, January 18. Desert Edge will encounter a Fighting Lobos squad coming off a 73-55 league loss to Westview (Avondale, AZ). The Fighting Lobos record now stands at 6-16.
