In Tuesday's league outing, the Casteel Colts (Queen Creek, AZ) basketball squad beat the host Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ), by a margin of 66-46.
The Colts (16-3) will now prepare for their outing against Higley (Gilbert, AZ). The Knights go into the 5A San Tan outing with a 10-8 record. In their last outing, Higley defeated Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ), 51-48, in a league outing.
The Pride now own a 1-12 record. They play next when they host Casa Grande for a 5A San Tan outing on Thursday, January 18. Mountain Pointe will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 59-45 league loss to Williams Field (Gilbert, AZ). The Cougars record now stands at 6-11.
