The Minnesota Valley Lutheran Chargers (New Ulm, MN) basketball knocked off the host Cedar Mountain Cougars (Morgan, MN), 87-78 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Chargers (10-2) will now prepare for their test against St. Clair (St. Clair, MN). The Cyclones go into the AA Section 2 test with a 8-6 record. In their last test, St. Clair notched a victory over Madelia (Madelia, MN), 74-73, in a league test.

The Cougars now own a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to B O L D for a A Section 2 test on Thursday, January 18. Cedar Mountain will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 73-67 non-league win over Renville County West (Renville, MN). The Warriors record now stands at 7-5.
