Georgia High School Basketball - Walnut Grove can't hold off Cherokee Bluff

The Cherokee Bluff Bears basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Walnut Grove Warriors to 56 in the Bears non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bears now sport a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Johnson for a AAAA Region 8 contest on Friday, January 19. Cherokee Bluff will battle a Knights team coming off a 74-37 league loss to Seckinger (Buford, GA). The Knights record now stands at 0-16.
The Warriors (10-9) will now prepare for their contest against Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA). The Jaguars enter the AAAA Region 8 contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, Cedar Shoals nudged East Hall (Gainesville, GA), 72-66, in a league contest.
