The Chisago Lakes Area Wildcats (Lindstrom, MN) basketball crushed the host Zimmerman Thunder (Zimmerman, MN), 87-61 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Wildcats (8-5) will now prepare for their test against St. Francis (St. Francis, MN). The Fighting Saints go into the non-league test with a 6-7 record. In their last test, St. Francis walloped Monticello (Monticello, MN), 63-62, in a league test.

The Thunder now sport a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cambridge-Isanti for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 18. Zimmerman will battle a Bluejackets team coming off a 81-67 league loss to Becker (Becker, MN). The Bluejackets record now stands at 9-5.
