Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Lincoln Charter Eagles (Denver, NC) and the visiting Christ the King Crusaders (Huntersville, NC), saw Lincoln Charter's basketball squad hold off Christ the King by a count of 65-60.

With the victory, Lincoln Charter upgrades its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC) to play the Raptor in a 1A/2A Catawba Shores challenge on Friday, January 19. The Raptor come into the challenge with a record of 9-4. Mountain Island Charter lost 78-64 in their recent league challenge against Corvian Community (Charlotte, NC)

Next up, the Crusaders play the Langtree Charter Lions (Mooresville, NC) in a 1A/2A Catawba Shores challenge, on Friday, January 19. Christ the King will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 1-17 record after their 75-31 league loss to Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC).
