The Jefferson Eagles basketball team scored 85 points and held the host Clinton Cougars to 76 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Big Foot for a Rock Valley - Rock contest on Friday, January 19. Jefferson will battle a Chiefs team coming off a 72-44 league win over Whitewater (Whitewater, WI). The Chiefs record now stands at 7-5.

The Cougars (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Deerfield (Deerfield, WI). The Demons enter the non-league contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Deerfield was defeated by Lake Mills (Lake Mills, WI), 67-57, in a non-league contest.
