The Kearsley Hornets basketball squad scored 77 points and limited the host Clio Mustangs to 48 in the Hornets league win on Tuesday.

With the win, Kearsley upgrades its record to 9-1 on the season. The Hornets travel to Holly (Holly, MI) to clash with the Bronchos in a Flint Metro bout on Friday, January 19. The Bronchos go into the bout with a record of 6-5. Holly won 63-62 in their recent league bout against Lake Fenton (Linden, MI)

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Owosso Trojans (Owosso, MI) in a Flint Metro bout, on Friday, January 19. Clio will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 1-7 record after their 63-25 non-league loss to Flushing (Flushing, MI).
