The Colquitt County Packers basketball team (Norman Park, GA), was nudged 54-51 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Lowndes Vikings (Valdosta, GA)
The Vikings now possess a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Richmond Hill for a AAAAAAA Region 1 battle on Friday, January 19. Lowndes will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 63-49 non-league loss to Woodville-Tompkins (Savannah, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-16.
The Packers (3-11) will now prepare for their battle against Camden County (Kingsland, GA). The Wildcats come into the AAAAAAA Region 1 battle with a 14-4 record. In their last battle, Camden County was nudged by Andrew Jackson (Jacksonville, FL), 66-45, in a non-league battle.
